Redrawing the lines of veracity in the Sharpiegate affair: “Pre-truth” claims in a Post-truth order
Looking back at the 2019 Sharpiegate affair, the article investigates the articulation of “pre-truth,” which became evident when a willful ambivalence toward factual evidence dovetailed with a juxtaposition of provisional, future-oriented truth claims.
