  • The more centralized the spatial structure is, the greater the economic growth? Evidence from urban agglomerations in western China

Open Access•Jing Zhao, Na Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Humanities and Social Sciences…•2025

This research examines data from eight urban agglomerations in western China from 2003 to 2020 to investigate the impacts of spatial structure changes on economic growth. Using dynamic spatial econometrics, we find that spatial agglomeration has significant effects on the economic growth performance of urban agglomerations in western China. Moreover, the direct effects of three indicators measuring spatial structure—population, industry and land …

  • Huangqin Decoction ameliorates ulcerative colitis by regulating fatty acid metabolism to mediate macrophage polarization via activating FFAR4-AMPK-PPARα pathway

Open Access•Min-yao Li, Minyao Li et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2023

  • Isoliquiritigenin from licorice flavonoids attenuates NLRP3-mediated pyroptosis by Sirt6 in vascular endothelial cells

Open Access•Jianyu He, Ying Deng et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2023

  • Aesculetin exhibited anti-inflammatory activities through inhibiting NF-кB and Mapks pathway in vitro and in vivo

    Open Access•Shou-Kai Wang, Shou‐Kai Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2022

  • Identifying Risk Factors Of A(H7N9) Outbreak by Wavelet Analysis and Generalized Estimating Equation

Open Access•Qinling Yan, Sanyi Tang et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2019

Five epidemic waves of A(H7N9) occurred between March 2013 and May 2017 in China. However, the potential risk factors associated with disease transmission remain unclear. To address the spatial-temporal distribution of the reported A(H7N9) human cases (hereafter referred to as "cases"), statistical description and geographic information systems were employed. Based on long-term observation data, we found that males predominated the majority of A(…

  • Model-Based Evaluation of Strategies to Control Brucellosis in China

    Open Access•Mingtao Li, Ming-Tao Li et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2017

Brucellosis, the most common zoonotic disease worldwide, represents a great threat to animal husbandry with the potential to cause enormous economic losses. Brucellosis has become a major public health problem in China, and the number of human brucellosis cases has increased dramatically in recent years. In order to evaluate different intervention strategies to curb brucellosis transmission in China, a novel mathematical model with a general indi…

  • Modelling and analysis of influenza A (H1N1) on networks

Open Access•Zhen Jin, Juping Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2011

Network modelling supplies a useful tool for studying the transmission of H1N1 in China, capturing the main features of the spread of H1N1. While a uniform, mass-immunization strategy helps control the prevalence, a targeted immunization strategy focusing on specific groups with given connectivity may better control the endemic
