The mutual relationship between two contemporary Christian authors, Jerome and Ambrose, has been discussed by modern scholars with differences in the conclusions about it. Jerome referred frequently to Ambrose in his literary work, including those records in which he thought on him without mentioning his name. A marble block measuring 51 x 30 x 48 cm, inscribed on the front side, appeared in the Museum at Pozarevac in 1994. Letters 1.1 and 1.5 cm. The inscription represents a so far unknown fragment of the long military roster CIL III 14507 = IMS II 53, containing the list of the soldiers of the legion VII Claudia enlisted in 169 and discharged 195.
