    Moore Moore•ARTICLE•Journal of Biblical Literature•2021

The question that Tattenai, the governor, poses to those attempting to rebuild the Jerusalem temple in Ezra 5 appears twice in the chapter, though scholarship has paid little attention to it. This study lays out the relevant surviving documentary data (Persian-period decrees and administrative documents) and uses them as a sociohistorical lens through which the importance of Tattenai’s question might be seen. The data suggest that, for ideologica…

This assemblage complicates longstanding arguments for Late Roman decline and identifies the cons…

METHODS: Between December 2013 and May 2014, data were collected on symptoms, procedures and treatment from 5,604 women who sought abortion care at a sample of 439 public and private health facilities; t…

  • Anatomy of a Design Regime

Moore Moore•ARTICLE•Indiana Journal of Global Legal…•2015

Since the European Union adopted uniform sui generis design rights, an increasingly complex system of cumulative and overlapping intellectual property rights has emerged. While such harmonization offers several benefits, analyzing the interpretation and application of narrow legal requirements within the EU Community Design Rights may indicate whether such benefits will actually be realized. This paper examines Regulation 6/2002’s definitions of …
