Meeting Places and Integration: Participatory Mapping of Cross-Cultural Interactions in Norwegian Cities
Increased immigration into Scandinavia warrants the need for knowledge about differential uses of urban spaces by populations with various cultural backgrounds and the conditions that support cross-cultural interactions in these spaces. Conflict between Global and Local Land-Use Values in Latvia's Gauja National Park
In this paper, it is analysed how land policy changes in Latvia's Gauja National Park (GNP) are shaped by a debate between global and local land-use values. Since Latvia's independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, major land policy reform has taken place in the park and the country as a whole.
