Investigating long term rainfall trends (1901‐2021) and forecast over the mountainous state of India using machine learning approach
This paper investigates the rainfall variability and trends (annual and seasonal) over Himachal Pradesh state from 1901 to 2021. The annual rainfall fluctuation ranges from 20 per cent to 36 per cent, indicating that rainfall in the mountainous regions has remained relatively stable over 121 years. While monsoon and annual rainfall exhibit a low degree of rainfall variability, there is greater fluctuation evident during the post‐monsoon (99 per c…
Climate teleconnections and groundwater response to drought in west‐central India
India has serious problems managing its water resources because of its fast urbanization, agricultural use, and population increase. Changing climatic conditions have enhanced water stress and drought frequency. This study investigates spatio‐temporal drought conditions in west‐central India, one of the most drought‐affected regions in the country for the period between 1951 to 2022 using the SPI for three, six and 12 months. Trend analysis using…
Enhanced Ai Security With DWT Watermarking and Hybrid Anomaly Detection Framework (Hadf)
This paper presents a novel approach to enhancing security in artificial intelligence systems through the fusion of Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT)--based watermarking with a Hybrid Anomaly Detection Framework (HADF). Traditional watermarking techniques often struggle to withstand various attacks in digital environments, especially in the context of AI systems where the stakes are high. In response, the proposed framework combines the robustness…
Long term (1901−2021) trends and prediction of climatic variability in selected agro‐ecological zones of Himachal Pradesh using coupled statistical and machine learning approaches
This study analyses the trends of changing climatic elements in the hydrological regime of the Indian Himalayan Region with specific focus on Agro‐ecological zone II & III of Himachal Pradesh for the period of 1901−2021. The upper, middle, and lower catchment areas of Sutlej River Basin were studied to reveal regional trends in climatic parameters. The Mann‐Kendall test and Sen Slope analysis were used to estimate annual and seasonal trends and t…
