    Doron Ben-Ami, Frida Ben-Ami et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Archaeology•2026•References: 49

The present study investigates human behaviour in response to paleo-hydrological fluctuations at the archaeological site of ‘En Ḥaẓeva, located in the arid Arabah Valley, Israel. Inbar Ktalav, Oded Borowski•ARTICLE•Tel Aviv•2010•References: 3

The malacological evidence from Iron Age II Tel Halif, which is located northeast of Beersheba, suggests that the site's proximity to the road leading from the Coastal Plain to the Hill Country served as a determinant in the site's inter-regional relations with the Mediterranean, Red Sea, Indo-Pacific, and Syria/Lebanon. This paper examines the raw evidence and suggests several possible uses for the molluscs
