Green Finance, Climate Stress and Sustainable Land Management in China's Land‐Degraded Regions
This study examined how green finance was associated with sustainable land management in selected land‐degraded provinces in China under climate stress. Using a balanced provincial panel of nine provinces from 2011 to 2023, the study constructed composite indices for sustainable land management, green finance and climate stress and estimated fixed‐effects, spatial and threshold models. The results showed that green finance was positively and sign…

What counts as knowledge in platform societies? Evidence from affective epistemic mobilities on rednote
What counts as knowledge in platform societies, and how does it circulate through affective and algorithmic infrastructures? This paper addresses these questions by examining Rednote (Xiaohongshu), a Chinese social media platform increasingly used as a de facto search engine among young users. Drawing on Don Ihde’s philosophy of human-technology relations and based on 32 semi-structured interviews and platform walkthroughs, we show how Rednote fo…
Multi-objective optimization of urban block morphology for thermal comfort and air quality
Reanalysis-data-based approach to generate urban local weather data to support building energy design in a tropical climate
Multi-objective optimization of green roof spatial layout in high-density urban areas—A case study of Xiamen Island, China
Urban road network design for alleviating residential exposure to traffic pollutants
Effect of Membrane Pore Size on Membrane Fouling of Corundum Ceramic Membrane in MBR
Ceramic membrane has emerged as a promising material to address the membrane fouling issue in membrane bioreactors (MBR). In order to optimize the structural property of ceramic membrane, four corundum ceramic membranes with the mean pore size of 0.50, 0.63, 0.80, and 1.02 μm were prepared, which were designated as C5, C7, C13, and C20, respectively. Long-term MBR experiments showed that the C7 membrane with medium pore size experienced the lowes…

A systematic review of studies at the intersection of urban climate and historical urban landscape
CFD simulations of wind flow and pollutant dispersion in a street canyon with traffic flow
Contradictory or aligned? The nexus between authenticity in heritage conservation and heritage tourism, and its impact on satisfaction
The discrepancy between authenticity regarding heritage conservation and perceived authenticity in heritage tourism has been extensively discussed and seen as an obstacle for sustainable heritage tourism and management. In this article, we reviewed the notion of authenticity respectively in heritage conservation and in heritage tourism, interviewed 5 experts and 363 tourists regarding three cultural heritages in Nanjing, China. Findings indicate …
Understanding how multi-sensory spatial experience influences atmosphere, affective city image and behavioural intention
This article firstly emphasizes the perspective viewing public spaces as places where meaningful spatial quality, i.e., atmosphere, is generated through multi-sensory spatial experiences, secondly proves that atmosphere has a positive direct impact on affective city image, also a positive indirect impact on behavioural intention, and finally proposes strategies of designing, managing and representing architectures and urban spaces, for city image…
