  • Mankiw–Romer–Weil model with a delay

Open Access•Anna Połeć, Anna Marianna Połeć et al.•ARTICLE•Mathematical Social Sciences•2026

This paper study the effects of investment delay on the dynamics of economic growth. We consider the modified Mankiw--Romer-Weil model in the form of a two-dimensional dynamical system with a time delay both in the production and depreciation. To analyse the solutions of the model we use one of the special functions, the Lambert W function. The analytical and numerical methods are used to study the local stability of stationary solution. We find …

    Open Access•Adam Krawiec•ARTICLE•Kwartalnik Historyczny•2022

  • The Concept of Space in the Chronicle of Gallus Anonymus, the Mental Geography of Its Author, and Their Significance for the Controversy on His Place of Origin

    Open Access•Adam Krawiec•ARTICLE•Acta Poloniae Historica•2015

The paper deals with the question of geographical imaginations of so-called Gallus Anonymus, as prevalent in his chronicle. The author sought to reconstruct the chronicler’s mental map of Europe, especially of Sclavonia (Slavonic countries), or, precisely, the concept of space (Raumkonzept) of his work, and the possible sources of his imaginations and knowledge. The author takes under consideration the possibilities of using the geographical data…

  • A note on Kaleckian lags in the Solow model

Marek Szydłowski, Adam Krawiec•ARTICLE•Review of Political Economy•2004

Building on a contribution by Paul Zak, we consider the modified Solow model with a time lag introduced in the Kaleckian spirit. This model produces endogenous cycles that can be interpreted as economic fluctuations. For reasonable parameter values it can generate empirically relevant cyclic variations in output. We prove the existence of a Hopf bifurcation and a limit cycle solution in the model. We find that there is only one solution with a pe…
