Lokalizacja kościoła w przestrzeni średniowiecznego miasta – przykład Barczewka (Alt-Wartenburg) na Warmii
Na podstawie badań archeologicznych ustalono, że w średniowiecznym ośrodku Wartenberg (dziś Barczewko, gmina Barczewo) na Warmii przypuszczalnie istniał kościół ufundowany w latach 1325/1330 przez biskupa warmińskiego, zniszczony w 1354 r. podczas ataku Litwinów. Był to prosty, drewniany budynek, o konstrukcji szachulcowej. Znaleziono tylko negatywy drewnianej konstrukcji, zwęglone drewno, liczne żelazne elementy konstrukcyjne. Orientacja na lini…
