Cambios en la geomorfología, vegetación y usos del suelo en las erupciones históricas de los siglos XX y XXI en La Palma (Islas Canarias, España)
Este artículo analiza los cambios en la geomorfología, la vegetación y los usos del suelo tras tres erupciones volcánicas (San Juan, 1949; Teneguía, 1971; y Tajogaite, 2021) en La Palma (Islas Canarias). Utiliza fotografías aéreas, mapas y bibliografía para estudiar las nuevas formas del relieve (conos, conos de salpicadura, hornitos, lavas) y evaluar la destrucción de la vegetación por caídas piroclásticas y coladas de lava. Objectives This article presents new radiocarbon and isotopic data to provide further information about the diet of the indigenous population of La Gomera and its possible changes across time. Materials and methods δ 13 C and δ 15 N of 53 human and 19 faunal samples from different sites on the island have been obtained and analyzed.
