Genetic markers in Liberia
Distribution of eight blood-group systems and ABH secretion in Mongolian, Korean, and Zhuang nationalities in China
Among different blood-group systems investigated here, the distribution of the ABO system varies most of all, followed by MNSs and P. Although there are differences in ABH secretion in the different populations, no striking regularity has been found. No significant difference has been found in the distribution of the blood-group systems Rhesus, Diego, Duffy, Kell and Kidd in these Chinese populations: the Rh (-) rate is less than 1%, the frequenc…
Erythrocyte and HLA antigens of Atacameño Indians
The present study reports the results of erythrocyte antigen typing for the following systems: ABO, MN, Rh, Kell, Duffy, and Diego in roughly 180 Atacameño Indians from the oasis of Toconao, northern Chile. A subsample was tested for variation at the histocompatibility loci A, B, and C. Results agree with previous findings based on smaller samples. Caucasian admixture of the Atacameños from Toconao was estimated to be 0.056 ± 0.022
Alpha1-antitrypsin subtypes in the populations of Germany, Ecuador, Afghanistan, Cameroon, and Saudi-Arabia
Genetic studies in Cameroon
The distribution of human Gm-globulin and Inv-allotypes in populations of Egypt, Saudi-Arabia, Afghanistan and Ecuador
Studying eye color using colour slides of irises
Genetics and the variability of lip grooves
