Some observations on dyslexia in children in Czechoslovakia
On the basis of epidemiologic surveys, clinical findings and multidisciplinary therapeutic efforts, a multifactorial theory of the development of reading disorders is developed. Four types are distinguished: cerebrally impaired, hereditary, cerebral impairment in the hereditarily predisposed, and neurotic. Characteristics of each type are described
