En Paicuqui (Antofagasta de la Sierra, Provincia de Catamarca) afloran pigmentos de origen mineral de diversas tonalidades que fueron utilizados entre hace 700 a 500 años AP. Presentamos el trabajo experimental realizado con el propósito de evaluar el comportamiento de esas materias primas, sus colores y composiciones al ser utilizados como pintura pre-cocción en cerámica. Presentamos la caracterización tecnológica y composicional de cerámica de estilo Molinos hallada en la localidad de Punta de la Peña en Antofagasta de la Sierra (puna meridional argentina) y en sitios de la cuenca del río Molinos, valle Calchaquí Medio (Salta). The Santa María pottery of El Bolsón valley (Catamarca, Argentina)
The results obtained from the multi‐analytic compositional characterization of ceramic pastes and paints of the Santa María style, from the El Bolsón valley (Belén Department, Catamarca Province, Argentina), are presented here.
