Adolescents’ impairment due to climate anxiety is associated with self-efficacy and behavioral engagement
The findings are useful to identify and support vulnerable groups that are more likely to experience impairment due to climate anxiety. The feeling of climate self-efficacy was not well developed among some groups of adolescents. Improving adolescents' beliefs in their capacity to help address climate change may be a key strategy to promote pro-environmental actions. Exploring the cross-sectional association between the strength of school vaping policies and student vaping behaviours using data from the 2021–2022 Compass Study
The STPI quickly identified components of school vaping policies that were missing. The overall score of most school vaping policies in our sample was low and most school vaping policies lacked many important components. Future studies should explore factors associated with adolescent vaping and identify effective prevention measures
The Qanuilirpitaa? 2017 Nunavik Health Survey

Sociocultural determinants of alcohol and cannabis use and misuse among Nunavimmiut
Key determinants of substance use relevant to Inuit culture were identified. Results are in line with our Inuit partners' experience in their communities and are coherent with current land-based interventions implemented in Nunavik. A thorough understanding of substance use contexts and related stressors should guide the content and implementation of substance use programs in Nunavik
Smoking cessation attempts and successes among Nunavimmiut
Despite many attempts reported by participants, regional partners of this study underlined that successful smoking cessation remains a challenge for many Nunavimmiut. Key differences were identified in approaches and determinants of smoking cessation attempts, but most smokers did not use cessation aids. Profiles of childhood adversities in Inuit from Nunavik
Childhood adversities among Nunavimmiut do not occur in isolation and experiencing multiple forms of childhood adversities predicts lower socioeconomic status, support, and community involvement in adulthood. Implications for the planning of health and community services in Nunavik are discussed
Support for mask use as a Covid-19 public health measure among a large sample of Canadian secondary school students
During the year following the beginning of the pandemic, most students supported the required use of masks in schools and wearing masks in indoor public spaces. Improving knowledge around the effectiveness of masks appears likely to have the largest impact on mask support in adolescent populations among the factors studied
Sociocultural factors in relation to mental health within the Inuit population of Nunavik
Although limited by their cross-sectional character, these analyses, based on the community component of the Qanuilirpitaa?, suggest that strengthening of family and community cohesion, and support of regular hunting and fishing deserve further attention as potential cumulative preventive avenues for Inuit mental health

Overcrowding is associated with lower levels of perceived social support, which is a key component of health for the general population and for Nunavimmiut.
