  • When do employees learn from artificial intelligence? The moderating effects of perceived enjoyment and task-related complexity

    Open Access•Yunjian Li, Yixiao Song et al.•ARTICLE•Technology in Society•2024•Cited by: 1•References: 84

  • Short-term effects of air pollution and weather changes on the occurrence of acute aortic dissection in a cold region

Open Access•Haiyu Zhang, Åse-Johanna Syversen et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2023

The risk of AAD is closely related to air pollution and weather characteristics in Harbin. While causation was not determined, the impact of air pollutants on the risk of AAD was reduced after the COVID-19 outbreak

  • Unfolding the impacts of metaverse aspects on telepresence, product knowledge, and purchase intentions in the metaverse stores

  • Uncertainty and China’s cross-border mergers and acquisitions

Yanming Sun, Shuhan Duan et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy•2022•References: 2

This study examines the relationship between uncertainty and China’s cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&As). Based on 1847 cross-border M&A deals made by Chinese firms in 130 countries and regions over the period of 2002 − 2018, we find that Chinese acquirers are less likely to conduct cross-border M&A deals when uncertainty is high in the target country. The results are robust to alternative samples and measures of uncertainty. Furthermore…

  • The Architecture of Mass Customization-Social Internet of Things System

Open Access•Zixin Dou, Yanming Sun et al.•ARTICLE•ISPRS International Journal of…•2021

In the era of big data, mass customization (MC) systems are faced with the complexities associated with information explosion and management control. Thus, it has become necessary to integrate the mass customization system and Social Internet of Things, in order to effectively connecting customers with enterprises. We should not only allow customers to participate in MC production throughout the whole process, but also allow enterprises to contro…

  • Exploring Regional Advanced Manufacturing and Its Driving Factors

Open Access•Zixin Dou, Yanming Sun et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2021

This study aims to analyze the development trend of the manufacturing industry of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (from 2008 to 2018) by constructing an evaluation system. On the basis of push-pull-mooring theory, we analyze these factors by using an entropy and cluster model. The results show the following: (1) Technological development had an obvious spatial distribution pattern of core regional radiation, while others did not. (…

  • Factors Affecting the Manufacturing Industry Transformation and Upgrading

Open Access•Fan Yang, Yanming Sun et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2021

This study aims to analyze the development trend of the manufacturing industry transformation and upgrading in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (2008-2018). On the basis of synergetics, the order parameter method of factor analysis is used to study these factors. The results show that: (1) There are five slow variable factors, such as intelligent manufacturing industry, technological innovation, scale agglomeration, market demand, a…

  • Cross-Regional Comparative Study on Environmental–Economic Efficiency and Driving Forces behind Efficiency Improvement in China

    Open Access•Xionghe Qin, Yanming Sun•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2019

Environmental−economic efficiency assessment is an effective way to evaluate the degree of coordination between an economy and the environment. Previous studies on environmental−economic efficiency have primarily investigated the efficiency of economic production and have often overlooked the efficiency of pollution treatment in overall economic activities. We applied a network data envelopment analysis model to evaluate the environmental−economi…

  • Full Separation or Full Integration? An Investigation of the Optimal Renewables Policy Employing Tradable Green Certificate Systems in Two Countries’ Electricity Markets

    Open Access•Yanming Sun, Lin Zhang•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2019

Tradable green certificate (TGC) systems are increasingly used to promote renewable energy generation and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions. In this paper, we investigate the performance of the optimal renewables policy under full separation and full integration scenarios for two countries with TGCs. Our analysis suggests that under full separation, one country's optimal renewable quota, which maximizes its own welfare, is strategically substitut…

  • Revisiting the residential electricity demand in the United States

Open Access•Yanming Sun, Yihua Yu•ARTICLE•The Social Science Journal•2017•Cited by: 1

In recent years, price policies and price changes derived from environmental regulations have played a more important role to promote residential energy conservation. Using recent annual state-level panel data for 48 states, we estimate a dynamic partial adjustment model for electricity demand elasticities on price and income in the residential sector. Our analysis reveals that in the short run, one unit price increase will lead to 0.142 unit of …
