  • Current Research at the Grd-I Tle Site (2021–2023)

Open Access•Gábor Kalla, Tamás Dezső et al.•ARTICLE•Hungarian Archaeology•2024

Following our paper published in the spring issue of Hungarian Archeology 2024, we continue to present the results of our 2021–2023 fieldwork at the Grd-i Tle tell site (Kalla et al. 2024). The previous article focused on remains from the Neo-Assyrian period (9th–7th centuries BC). Here, we summarize our results on the Hellenistic-Parthian and Islamic periods, during which the tell site reached its present state

  • Újabb kutatások Grd-i Tle lelőhelyén (2021–2023)

Open Access•Gábor Kalla, Tamás Dezső et al.•ARTICLE•Magyar Régészet•2024

Ez a cikk folytatása a Magyar Régészet 2024. évfolyam tavaszi számában megjelent tanulmányunknak, amelyben a Grd-i Tle lelőhelyén folytatott terepmunkánk 2021–2023 közötti időszakának eredményeit foglaltuk össze (Kalla et al. 2024).

Open Access•Julieta Carilla, Ricardo Grau et al.•ARTICLE•Mountain Research and Development•2024

We present the Andean Social–Ecological Observatory Network (ROSA, for Red de Observatorios Socioecológicos Andinos), a continent-wide monitoring initiative established to address major challenges in the management of knowledge on social–ecological systems (SES) in the Andes. The Andes, the longest mountain chain in the world, provide key ecosystem services for human wellbeing across the continent. However, the region faces multiple impacts assoc…

  • How codependency affects dyadic coping, relationship perception and life satisfaction

    Open Access•Zsuzsa Happ, Zsófia Bodó-Varga et al.•ARTICLE•Current Psychology•2023

In this study, we interpret codependency as a dysfunctional pattern of relating to others, and based on this approach, we hypothesized an association with negative forms of dyadic coping, relationship problems and life satisfaction. A total of 246 Hungarian participants (167 females, 79 males), aged 18–72 years (M = 35.3, SD = 11.6) completed our online survey including measures of codependency, dyadic coping, perceptions of relationship, and lif…

  • Dimensionality of narcissism

Open Access•Márton Engyel, Róbert Urbán et al.•ARTICLE•Current Psychology•2022

The Narcissistic Personality Inventory is a widely used measure of narcissism; however, several different conflicting factor structures have been proposed. The present study aimed to untangle those differences by offering a bifactor model of narcissism with an underlying general narcissism factor and several specific factors. Our objective was to estimate the variance explained by the general and the specific factors. Therefore, we applied a set …

  • Isotope Analytical Characterization of Carbon-Based Nanocomposites

Open Access•Tibor Szabó, Róbert Janovics et al.•ARTICLE•Radiocarbon•2018•References: 48

Carbon-based nanomaterials of different dimensions (1–3D, tubes, bundles, films, papers and sponges, graphene sheets) have been created and their characteristic properties have been discussed intensively in the literature. Due to their unique advantageous, tunable properties these materials became promising candidates in new generations of applications in many research laboratories and, recently, in industries as well. Protein-based bio-nanocompo…

  • Alpine Ecology in the Iberian Peninsula

    Open Access•Isabel C Barrio, C Guillermo Bueno et al.•ARTICLE•Mountain Research and Development•2013

included a symposium on alpine ecological research in the Iberian Peninsula. This session offered an excellent opportunity to assess the state and progress of alpine ecology in this region, identify knowledge gaps, and discuss further directions for research. Iberian alpine ecosystems are biodiversity hotspots and have traditionally contributed to sustaining rural livelihoods. Today, these ecosystems are subjected to large changes in land uses, i…
