  • Comparison of Associative Learning under Three Methods and Three Directional Forms of Presentation

    Open Access•Vladimir Cervin, V B Cervin et al.•ARTICLE•Psychological Reports•1970

Paired-associate recall was compared under three methods of presentation, prompting, correction, and non-correction arranged in forward, semibackward, and backward forms. The methods were characterized by pairs of events: RT-R for prompting, R-RT for correction, and R-KR for non-correction. These ordered pairs determined the number of correct pairings Ss could achieve in each method, the largest for prompting and least for non-correction. They se…

  • Multiple S-R Apparatus for Individual and Social Learning

    Open Access•Vladimir Cervin, V B Cervin et al.•ARTICLE•Psychological Reports•1965

An apparatus has been designed and constructed on which a variety of learning experiments can be performed, e.g., classical, operant, probability, discrimination, multiple and paired-associate, both individual and social with up to six Ss. The equipment almost eliminates response and stimulus learning. Electrically it consists of a simple logic circuitry and a programming circuitry. Independently programmed are four sets of stimuli and one set of…
