Faith and Scholarship in Aboriginal and Islander History
The Fabrication of Aboriginal History, does not, as Shlomowitz contends, circumvent standard criteria of traditional historical enquiry. In fact, it insists upon them. Guerrilla Warrior and Resistance Fighter? The Career of Musquito
A debate on the substantial historical issue of the response of Aboriginals to British colonization with guerrilla warfare or wars of resistance, with specific focus on the Sydney Aborigine named Musquito, is addressed. It is argued that Musquito cannot be described as a guerilla warrior or resistance fighter as their actions did not involve attacks on British troops or assaults on settlers and stockmen, other than with an aim of robbery
