  • Insights into Lake Baikal's ancient populations based on genetic evidence from the Early Neolithic Shamanka II and Early Bronze Age Kurma XI cemeteries

    Open Access•N M Moussa, Hugh McKenzie et al.•ARTICLE•Archaeological Research in Asia•2021•Cited by: 1•References: 5

  • Y-chromosomal DNA analyzed for four prehistoric cemeteries from Cis-Baikal, Siberia

    Open Access•N M Moussa, I Bazalysky et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Archaeological Science…•2016•Cited by: 1•References: 6

  • Maternal Exposure to Bisphenol-A and Fetal Growth Restriction

Open Access•Igor Burstyn, Jonathan W Martins et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2013

We conducted a case-referent study of the effect of exposure to bisphenol-A on fetal growth in utero in full-term, live-born singletons in Alberta, Canada. Newborns <10 percentile of expected weight for gestational age and sex were individually matched on sex, maternal smoking and maternal age to referents with weight appropriate to gestational age. Exposure of the fetus to bisphenol-A was estimated from maternal serum collected at 15-16 weeks of…

  • Informatics of Newborn Screening for Congenital Hypothyroidism in Alberta 2005–08

Open Access•Jonathan Dawrant, Jonathan M Dawrant et al.•ARTICLE•Canadian Journal of Public Health•2011•References: 11

  • Population affinities of Neolithic Siberians

    Open Access•Karen P Mooder, Thedore G Schurr et al.•ARTICLE•American Journal of Physical…•2006•Cited by: 15•References: 46

Archaeological evidence supports the inhabitation of the Lake Baikal region since the Paleolithic. Both metric and nonmetric osteological studies suggest that Neolithic Cis‐Baikal populations are the ancestors of contemporary inhabitants of the region. To date, ancient DNA data have not been used to corroborate this biological continuity hypothesis. This study presents a temporal snapshot of the Cis‐Baikal Neolithic by examining mtDNA diversity i…
