The study shows that Roman Catholic priests tend to prefer introversion over extraversion, feeling over thinking and judging over perceiving. Near equal preferences are shown for sensing and intuition. The type preferences of Roman Catholic priests in the UK are compared and contrasted with the t…

    Bruce Duncan, Duncan W Bruce•ARTICLE•Seminar A Journal of Germanic…•1999

November 10, 1859, marked a unique occurrence in German history. Perhaps the largest secular event in the German-speaking world up to that point, the Centenary still overshadows, in both its popular appeal and symbolic significance, all other public celebrations of a figure from high culture. Because it was not orchestrated wholly from above, in contrast to many other such observances, its planning and execution fully reflected many of the sociop…

  • Fate and Coincidence in Arnim's Seltsames Begegnen und Wiedersehen

    Bruce Duncan, Duncan W Bruce•ARTICLE•Seminar A Journal of Germanic…•1979

Seltsames Begegnen und Wiedersehen seems particularly susceptible to the charge of formlessness traditionally levelled at Arnim's work.
