The Life and Works of Don W. Cruickshank (1942–2021)
This article discusses Don Cruickshank’s career and writings on Spain’s seventeenth-century theatre and culture—particularly on Calderón, and on Golden-Age printed plays. Cruickshank also collaborated in two international Projects dedicated to cataloguing thousands of comedias sueltas preserved in archives and libraries in Spain and the USA.
