Triadic Reality, the Now System, and Maternal Desire: Thoughts on Daphne de Marneffe's Maternal Desire
Maternal desire is discussed as it coexists with and is tutored by paternal desire and the spousal relationship. Triadic reality and the Now moment are introduced as relevant variables in the regulation of all intrapsychic and interactive phenomena
Triadic reality, same sex parents and child analysis: A response to Ann Smolen's ‘Boys only! No mothers allowed’
Triadic Reality and The Capacity to Love
The author describes the concept of triadic reality, which he sees as a necessary prerequisite to healthy negotiation of the oedipal phase. Los degradados: Out, down, dead: Transmitted and inflicted trauma as encountered in the analysis of a 6‐year‐old girl

Analyst and child together participate in play which utilizes displacement, enactment and interactive …

He proposes that a kind of narcissistic pathology featuring perverse sexuality may eventuate in the absence of paternal availability and in the presence of a disordered relationship between the parents. He also suggests that the ways in which aggression is or is not mo…
