An Investigation of Death Anxiety, Sense of Competence, and Need for Achievement
Eighty female undergraduates were administered four written questionnaires on death anxiety, sense of competence, need for achievement, and general anxiety. An open ended question on the personification of death was also included. As predicted, a negative correlation was found between death anxiety and sense of competence.
