The present study examined whether positive media representation of bi + attraction would relate to reduced internalized stigma for bi + participants. In the pilot phase, bi + participants (N = 12) assessed four music videos, ranking the degree to which they perpetuated positive or negative stereotypes about bi + identities. This qualitative study explores the sexting experiences of college-aged students with attention to gendered understandings and motivations of sexting. We gathered data on the decision-making process, relational contexts in which sexting occurred, body-image management, and perceived outcomes of past experiences. During the COVID-19 pandemic, telehealth technologies and mental health apps have been promoted to manage distress in the public and to augment existing mental health services. From a humanistic perspective, the promotion and use of mobile apps raises ethical concerns regarding the autonomy of the person using the app. However, there are other dangers that arise when technological fixes are embraced at a time of crisis.
