Open Access•Sara C Folta, Jessica Burch et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2026

Introduction: Medically tailored meals (MTMs) are home-delivered, nutritionally tailored meals designed for patients with complex or advanced diet-sensitive medical conditions and social stressors. Purpose: To conduct qualitative interviews to gain an in-depth understandi…

Open Access•Oyedolapo Anyanwu, Sara C Folta et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2023

Background: The Indonesian government faces a dilemma of promoting fish consumption for its health benefits and to ease food insecurity, while at the same time seeking effective approaches to reduce the high levels of marine pollution. However, the factors associated with fish consumption in the face of persistent high levels of marine pollution are not well elucidated in the literature. • The Effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic on Nutrition, Health and Environment in Indonesia

Open Access•Oyedolapo Anyanwu, Elena N Naumova et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Our findings reveal perceptions by informants that the increased awareness and adherence to health behaviors observed during the pandemic was not sustained. Our results also suggest that the pandemic may have exacerbated the double-burden paradox and marine pollution in Indonesia. This study offers information for generating hypotheses for quantitative studies to corroborate our findings and inform policies and programs to mitigate the long-term …

  • Consumer confusion about wholegrain content and healthfulness in product labels

Open Access•Parke Wilde, Jennifer L Pomeranz et al.•ARTICLE•Public Health Nutrition•2020

Objective: Using a legal standard for scrutinising the regulation of food label claims, this study assessed whether consumers are misled about wholegrain (WG) content and product healthfulness based on common product labels. Design: First, a discrete choice experiment used pairs of hypothetical products with different amounts of WG, sugar and salt to measure effects on assessment of healthfulness; and second, a WG content comprehension assessment…
