  • Food choices, microstructure of ingestive behavior and sensory perceptions after bariatric surgery in women: A cross-sectional study

Open Access•Nina Ritsch, Erika Guyot et al.•ARTICLE•Appetite•2025•References: 52

  • Local retail food environment exposure and diet quality in rural and urban adults: A longitudinal analysis of the Oriscav-LUX cohort study

    Open Access•Marion Tharrey, Torsten Bohn et al.•ARTICLE•Health & Place•2024•References: 14

Despite growing interest in understanding how food environments shape dietary behaviors, European longitudinal evidence is scarce. We aimed to investigate the associations of 9-year average and change in exposure to local retail food environments with the diet quality of residents in Luxembourg. We used data from 566 adults enrolled in both waves of the nationwide ORISCAV-LUX study (2007-2017). Dietary quality was assessed by the Diet Quality Ind…

  • Impact of acute & repeated exposure to sweeteners & sweetness enhancers on food behaviour, physiology, health: Study protocol for SWEET WP2

    Open Access•Eva Almiron-Roig, Santiago Navas‐carretero et al.•ARTICLE•Appetite•2021

  • Is there a link between sensory alterations and modification in food preference following bariatric surgery

Open Access•Erika Guyot, Anestis Dougkas et al.•ARTICLE•Appetite•2021

  • Data on Determinants Are Needed to Curb the Sedentary Epidemic in Europe. Lessons Learnt from the Dedipac European Knowledge Hub

Open Access•Marieke De Craemer, Sébastien Chastin et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2018

Societal and technological changes have resulted in sitting being the dominant posture during most activities of daily living, such as learning, working, travelling and leisure time. Too much time spent in seated activities, referred to as sedentary behaviour, is a novel concern for public health as it is one of the key lifestyle causes of poor health. The European DEDIPAC (Determinants of Diet and Physical Activity) Knowledge Hub coordinated the…

  • A massive geographically weighted regression model of walking-environment relationships

Open Access•T Feuillet, Hadrien Commenges et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Transport Geography•2018•Cited by: 3•References: 5

  • Neighborhood educational disparities in active commuting among women: The effect of distance between the place of residence and the place of work/study (an Acti-Cités study)

    Open Access•Camille Perchoux, Julie-Anne Nazare et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2017

Our results suggest that neighborhood educational disparities in active commuting tend to increase with commuting distance among women. Further research is needed to provide geographically driven guidance for health promotion intervention aiming at reducing disparities in active transportation among socioeconomic groups

  • A systematic review of correlates of sedentary behaviour in adults aged 18–65 years: A socio-ecological approach

    Open Access•Gráinne O’Donoghue, Camille Perchoux et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2016

  • Assessment of sedentary behaviors and transport-related activities by questionnaire: A validation study

Open Access•Keitly Mensah, Aurélia Maire et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2016

The STAQ showed acceptable reliability and a good ranking validity for assessment of context-specific SB and TRA. This instrument appears as a useful tool to study SB, TRA and PA in context in adults

  • Using concept mapping in the development of the EU-PAD framework (EUropean-Physical Activity Determinants across the life course): A Dedipac-study

Open Access•Giancarlo Condello, Fiona Chun Man Ling et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2016

The current framework provides a preliminary overview of factors which may account for PA behaviour across the life course and are most relevant to the European community. These insights could potentially be a foundation for future Pan-European research on how these factors might interact with each other, and assist policy makers to identify appropriate interventions to maximize PA behaviours and thus the health of European citizens
