  • Challenges and strategies for integrating preschool children with disabilities into public kindergartens in Inner Mongolia, China

Open Access•Xue Zuo, Hanhui Jiao et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2026

This study looks into the integration of preschool children with disabilities into public kindergartens in Inner Mongolia in China. This is a region with vast territories but which has been shown to have an uneven spread in the adoption of inclusive education for children. The study adopted a qualitative approach, in which in-depth, semi-structured interviews were held with 22 stakeholders who were selected with the use of purposive sampling done…

Open Access•Shaomei Li, Jie Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Early Childhood Education Journal•2026

  • The Impact of Switching Intention of Teachers’ Online Teaching in the Covid-19 Era

Open Access•Chien‐Liang Lin, Jun-Yan Liu et al.•ARTICLE•The International Review of…•2025

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many educational institutions switched to online learning to maintain learning activities. With the global pandemic, the educational environment was forced to shift from traditional face-to-face teaching or blended learning to a fully online learning model. In February 2020, China took the lead in announcing the implementation of online learning, encouraging most teachers to use it. Exploring the potential of…

  • Negative parenting style and depressive symptoms among college students

Open Access•Ruipeng Wu, Yeen Huang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Psychology•2025

The study indicates that negative parenting styles contribute to depressive symptoms among college students through EDs. Maladaptive CERS amplify the impact of EDs on depressive symptoms, suggesting the importance of addressing these strategies in preventive and therapeutic settings. This research underscores the need for interventions targeting family dynamics and emotional regulation to mitigate depressive symptoms in vulnerable populations

  • Exploring the association between the post-pandemic period and psychological problems among university students in Wuhan

    Open Access•Zhichao He, Sang-Wook Yi et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

The psychological challenges confronting university students in Wuhan are alarmingly severe, with individual factors superimposed on the pandemic caused by SARS-CoV2 being the primary contributors. We propose targeted intervention measures: strengthening psychological counseling services, increasing communication and exchange to enhance students' psychological resilience, raising awareness about mental health and lifestyle, alleviating students' …

  • Social isolation in relation to the incidence and dynamic progression of frailty in the oldest old

    Open Access•Junyi Wang, Ya‐Fu Yu et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

This study indicates that social isolation may contribute to an increased risk of both the incidence and progression of frailty, elevating deterioration risks in initially non-frail and prefrail populations, while primarily exacerbating mortality risks in those already experiencing prefrailty or frailty

  • Trends and Developments in Family Resilience Research

Sainan Li, Qin Li et al.•ARTICLE•American Journal of Health Behavior•2024

Objectives: In the last decade, family resilience has become a key focus of research. This study maps the core areas of family resilience research from 2013 to 2023 to guide future academic work. Methods: We conducted a comprehensive review of the literature on family resilience from the Web of Science Core Collection. Using Biblioshiny in R-Studio and VOSviewer, we performed a detailed bibliometric analysis. Results: We identified 870 documents,…

  • Loop-mediated isothermal amplification combined with lateral flow biosensor for rapid and sensitive detection of monkeypox virus

Open Access•Xiaolan Huang, Fei Xiao et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2023

The ongoing outbreak of the monkeypox, caused by monkeypox virus (MPXV), has been a public health emergency of international concern, indicating an urgent need for rapid and sensitive MPXV detection. Here, we designed a diagnostic test based on loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) and nanoparticle-based lateral flow biosensor(LFB)for diagnosis of MPXV infection, termed MPX-LAMP-LFB. A set of six LAMP primers was designed based the ATI ge…

  • Limited driving of elevated CO 2 on vegetation greening over global drylands

    Open Access•Dongnan Jian, Guo‐Yue Niu et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2023

Drylands are the world’s largest biome and dominate the trends and interannual variability of global carbon sinks. Although a ‘greening’ trend of global drylands has been widely reported, large uncertainties remain in attributing its drivers. It is increasingly emphasized that elevated CO 2 has greatly contributed to the vegetation greening over global drylands. Here we quantified the contributions of climate change, elevated CO 2 , and land use …

  • Evaluation of the Application Effect of WeChat Platform-based Communication Mode in Family Members of Patients after Partial Pulmonary Resection in the Anesthesia Intensive Care Unit

Open Access•Juan Zhou, Hong Chen et al.•ARTICLE•American Journal of Health Behavior•2022

Objectives: In this study, we explored the application effect of the communication mode based on WeChat platform in the family members of patients after partial pulmonary resection in the anesthesia intensive care unit. Methods: We selected 80 patients with elective general anesthesia for partial pulmonary resection and divided them into an observation group and a control group with 40 cases in each group according to the random number table meth…

  • Bilingual language entropy influences executive functions through functional connectivity and signal variability

Open Access•Xiaoqian Li, Kwun Kei Ng et al.•ARTICLE•Brain and Language•2021

  • The Item Parameters’ Estimation Accuracy of Two-Parameter Logistic Model

Wen-Jiu DU, Wenjiu DU et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2013
