  A guide intended to facilitate formulating goals in child guidance is described. Need for such a guide stems from the contention that treatment planning and evaluation should be related to goals determined early and at periodic intervals in the life of a case. Conceptually, the guide considers goal setting as related to extra- and intra-family dynamics and intrapsychic pathology
