Toward a holistic model for predicting community reentry performance
The design of live assessment contexts that more closely approximate the demands of life in the community than do measures upon which dispositional decisions are currently based is proposed. The usefulness of two such contexts in predicting the community reentry performance of 205 briefly hospitalized psychiatric patients is examined and discussed

A modification of the traditional group therapy format is described, in which clinicians responsible for decisions to hospitalize or release are provided a systematic structure for assessing the degree of impairment of patient's abilities to cope with the demands of their human environment
