Psychiatric sequelae of old burns in children and their parents
A study of ten children who had long recovered from severe burn, and of their mothers, revealed the existence of lasting emotional maladjustments in both children and mothers, related at least in part to the trauma of the burn. Implications for preventive measures and for future research are discussed
