Brief intervention as a preventive force in disorders of early childhood
This paper describes the use of psychotherapeutic consultation in pediatrics practice. Techniques of family interviewing were employed for short-term intervention. Three family meetings were done for families with preschool children whose symptoms had no organic basis and did not respond to usual pediatric advice
