Factors influencing psychosocial adjustment to forced geographical relocation: The Israeli withdrawal from the Sinai
The evacuation of an Israeli community in the Sinai peninsula afforded an unusual opportunity to study the relationships among individual coping styles, social network characteristics, and parameters of psychosocial adjustment manifested by community residents immediately prior to their forced relocation. Key variables affecting adjustment are highlighted and directions for future research are suggested
