Innovations in Teaching Assistant Development: An Apprenticeship Model
This article describes an apprenticeship model that was developed and implemented across several language areas within one department at a large Canadian university. Textual and Pictorial Glosses: Effectiveness on Incidental Vocabulary Growth When Reading in a Foreign Language
The present study investigates the effects of pictorial and textual glosses and a combination thereof on incidental vocabulary growth of foreign language learners.
