Hostel Care for Elderly People: The Association with Hospital and Nursing Home
In order to achieve its purpose a hostel should have a clearly defined association with both acute hospital and nursing home. This report is a study of the reasons for separation of residents from a hostel over a period of four years; it included temporary admissions to an acute hospital situation and permanent transfer to a nursing home.
