Unraveling the Complexity of Cardiac Distress
Specific experiences of distress appear to be highly prevalent in people who have had a recent cardiac event. Understanding these specific fears, worries and stressors has important implications for the identification and management of post-event mental health and, in turn, for supporting patients in their post-event cardiac recovery

Histories of magnetism and the mariner's compass have usually been restricted to a few brief descriptions by Alexander Neckam, Guyot de Provins and Jacques de Vitry, followed by the important Epistola de Magnete of of Peter Peregrinus (1269). But by reviewing the many other early European references to the mariner's compass, we find that there is little in Peregrinus that originating, knowledge of the compass
Human cryptosporidiosis associated with an epizootic in calves
An outbreak of human cryptosporidiosis occurred among previously healthy persons in a veterinary medical teaching hospital. Human illness began after admission of calves from a farm which had been experiencing an epizootic of neonatal diarrhea due to Cryptosporidium.
