Creativity dimensions of individual and group with the moderating role of guidance
The current study intends to explore the effect of a participant unit (Individual/group) and guidance provided through design thinking on different dimensions of creativity. It further discusses the relevance of employing a particular participant unit to get better output based on the requirements at different stages of innovation or creativity. The study explores different aspects of creativity – originality, fluency, flexibility, or elaboration…
Dynamics of soil enzyme activities during critical growth stages in rice and wheat under conservation agriculture-based management practices
Conservation agriculture (CA)-based practices reduce the risk of soil nutrient depletion by promoting the stabilization and sequestration of organic carbon (C) and enhancing soil biological functioning. To address this, a field study was conducted to quantify the impact of rice establishment methods, tillage and residue management practices for eight-years to identify the critical growth stages of rice and wheat for assessing the biological prope…
Enablers and obstacles for implementing rewilding pathways in socio-ecological systems
Rewilding gained attention as a transformative approach to restoring biodiversity and ecosystem functions in Europe’s multifunctional landscapes. Yet, its implementation in socio-ecological systems (SES) raises critical questions about the alignment of ecological goals with social values, cultural contexts, and economic realities. This article discusses enablers and obstacles for rewilding in human-shaped landscapes, drawing on a holistic, transd…
Multivariate decomposition of shift toward public facilities for inpatient care in rural India
Introduction: Public facilities in health systems are essential for improving access and ensuring equity. Public facility utilization for inpatient care in rural areas increased between the most recent National Sample Survey (NSS) health rounds of 2014 and 2017-2018. This study conducted a decomposition analysis to identify the underlying causes that contributed to this increase in public facility utilization. Materials and methods: The study use…
Systemic territoriality in academia
Addressing environmental challenges requires scientific collaboration, access to resources, and open knowledge exchange. However, possessive behaviors, referred to by these authors as the Gollum effect, undermine these principles by restricting resource access, obstructing research, and monopolizing opportunities. Despite widespread anecdotal evidence, the prevalence and impacts of these territorial behaviors remain unquantified. Here, we present…

Dharamshala is home to the Tibetan Government-in-Exile. Its small-town journalism landscape is unique due to specific forms of community journalism practice adopted by Indian and Tibetan journalists. The Tibetan press there faces a paradox: simultaneously “local and community specific” for Tibetans-in-exile, “refugee voices” for the international community, and “foreign journalism” for Indians. This framing study identified interpretive packages …
Genetic Variation of ABO Blood Groups among Three Endogamous Tribal Populations of Chhattisgarh, Central India
Data are presented on the phenotype and allele frequency distribution of the ABO blood groups among three endogamous tribal population groups namely, Kanwar, Gond and Hill Korwa of Chhattisgarh state of Central India. The application of Hardy-Weinberg law and ÷2 test to the phenotype data demonstrated no significant departure from genetic equilibrium in this serological marker in each of them.Key Words: ABO Blood groupsTribesChhattisgarh

Governance for realising a sustainable society
Governance, that is how, by whom, when, and for what motivation decisions are taken, is central to sustainability. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, democracy is now being increasingly recognised as the only vehicle for realising sustainability. However, democracy has resulted in over consumption of resources in industrialised nations and has created a host of problems in developing nations. In reality, this is not the failure of democracy …
