    The Klein site Clovis locality consists oflithic artifacts and mammoth and horse bone that have eroded from a small, low-relief gravel ridge disturbed by agricultural practices. The ridge is on the late Pleistocene Kersey terrace of the South Platte River and is part of a ridge-swale landscape produced by the river as it flowed in a braided pattern across an aggrading floodplain.
