  • Variation in the Heritability of Educational Attainment

    A Branigan, A R Branigan et al.•ARTICLE•Social Forces•2013•Cited by: 61•References: 14

To assess heterogeneity in the influence of genetic variation on educational attainment across environmental contexts, we present a meta-analysis of heritability estimates in fifteen samples and thirty-four subgroups differing by nationality, sex, and birth cohort. We find that heritability, shared environment, and unshared environment each explain a substantial percentage of the variance in attainment across all countries, with between-sample he…

  • University of Saskatchewan Radiocarbon Dates VI

    Open Access•A A Rutherford, J Wittenberg et al.•ARTICLE•Radiocarbon•1973•Cited by: 11•References: 21

This series reports some of the measurements made since the previous list. Methods essentially remain as described in Saskatchewan II (R, 1960, v 2, p 73) with expanded facilities and new electronic equipment since 1973. The laboratory operates commercially, administered by the Saskatchewan Research Council under the direction of A A Rutherford

    Open Access•K J McCallum, J Wittenberg•ARTICLE•Radiocarbon•1965•Cited by: 6•References: 5

This series reports some of the measurements made since the publication of the previous list. Equipment and methods have been previously described (Saskatchewan II)

  • University of Saskatchewan Radiocarbon Dates III

    K J McCallum, J Wittenberg•ARTICLE•Radiocarbon•1962•Cited by: 11•References: 9

The third series of C 14 measurements made at the University of Saskatchewan is reported in the present list. The equipment and methods have been described previously (Saskatchewan II). The modern reference standard was 0.950 times the activity of the NBS oxalic-acid standard. The activity of the wood standard used previously corresponded to 0.955 ± 0.009 of the NBS standard, so that no corrections are required to the previous date lists to bring…
