First AMS radiocarbon dates from the Kirakle-Tobe settlement
In this article, we present the first results from radiocarbon dating of the Kirakle-Tobe settlement located in the central part of the Volga River Delta, southern Russia. Archaeological artifacts and 14 C measurements on charcoal indicate three stages of settlement development on the Kirakle-Tobe knoll.
