Los oasis de la península de Baja California, en el noroeste de México, son sistemas agroforestales tradicionales que surgieron con la fundación de las misiones jesuitas en 1697. Este estudio analiza el tipo de agricultura establecida en las 16 misiones del periodo fundacional (1697-1774).
