The article examines the admission of ‘sociology of literature’ in the standard literary reference works of the Weimar Republic. In addition to handbooks, these include above all the Reallexikon der deutschen Literaturgeschichte and the Sachwörterbuch für Deutschkunde . The study examines how the method is understood, whom it is associated with, what examples are given, and what significance it had in the methodological discourse at the time
On the Theory of Narrative Levels and Their Annotation in the Digital Context
The article was written in the context of a Shared Task on the Analysis of Narrative levels Through Annotation (“SANTA”) which was published as a first draft in 2019.
