This report provides a synthesis of the results for a Palaeolithic watching brief carried out at Borrow Pit TEA28 BP3 (NGR TL 3020 6779) as part of the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon road improvement scheme. Open Access•W A Boismier, Naida Jakirlic et al.•ARTICLE•Optometry and Vision Science•2022

Acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy is a self-limited inflammatory condition of the outer retina that usually affects young adults and often does not require treatment. It has been reported to occur after vaccination for influenza, polio, hepatitis B, meningococcus C, and varicella zoster virus. This is the first known case to occur after SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in a healthy adolescent boy.

  • A Middle Palaeolithic Site at Lynford Quarry, Mundford, Norfolk

    Open Access•W A Boismier, Danielle Schreve et al.•ARTICLE•Proceedings of the Prehistoric…•2003•Cited by: 9•References: 1

In late February and early March 2002, an archaeological watching brief at Lynford Quarry, Mundford, Norfolk revealed a palaeochannel with a dark organic fill containing in situ mammoth remains and associated Mousterian stone tools and debitage buried under 2–3 m of bedded sands and gravels. Well-preserved in situ Middle Palaeolithic open air sites are very unusal in Europe and exceedingly rare within a British context. As such, the site was iden…

  • Two Beaker Burials from Chilbolton, Hampshire

    Open Access•Andrew D Russel, W A Boismier et al.•ARTICLE•Proceedings of the Prehistoric…•1990•Cited by: 8•References: 11

The stripping, for commercial purposes, of an area of chalk downland near Leckford, Hants., led to the excavation of a small ring ditch containing the remains of two male inhumations. The earlier, 3740±80 BP uncal., buried in a mortuary chamber, was accompanied by a bell-shaped beaker of early type (with European or Wessex/Middle Rhine affinities), an antler spatula, two pairs of gold earrings, a gold tubular bead, 55 stone beads, a copper dagger…
