    Open Access•Ekaterina Bocharova, P V Chistyakov et al.•ARTICLE•Problems of Archaeology…•2025

This paper presents the results of field and analytical studies at the Sidorikha site. • Research of the Late Paleolithic Site Pritubinsk I in the South-Minusinsk Hollow

    Open Access•Е В Акимова, V M Kharevich et al.•ARTICLE•Bulletin of the Irkutsk State…•2020

Since the XIX century, South-Minusinsk hollow has been an area of scientific interest for the Paleometal Epoch and Middle Ages researches although many years of intense focus investigations of any ancient sites have not brought the expected outcomes. Purpose. The Krasnoyarsk reservoir having flooded the lowest terraces of the Yenisei River, many archaeological sites were disturbed and destroyed, so archaeological data about the period of the Final Pleistocene to the Early Holocene on the territory of Central Siberia became scarce. Nowadays, our knowledge about this period is based on the materials from the sites around Krasnoyarsk city, such as Eleneva cave, Shalunin Byk, the upper layers of …

    Open Access•Е В Акимова, E AKIMOVA et al.•ARTICLE•Archaeometry•2010•Cited by: 7•References: 22

A new AMS radiocarbon date has been obtained from a Siberian human bone sample taken directly from a cranial fragment. The specimen comes from the north‐east Siberian site of Pokrovka 2 (55 0 19′46.30′′N, 92 0 26′48.80′′E). The remains consist of the anterior portion of the cranium or the superior part of the face; that is, the forehead and the roof of the eye sockets. Sadly, indifferent features of the frontal bone do not allow a confident diagn…
