  • Digitalisation of International Trade in Intellectual Properties

Open Access•Xiaolan Fu, Jing Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•World Economy•2026

In the era of globalisation and digital transformation, international trade has expanded beyond traditional goods and services to include the exchange of intellectual properties (IPs), particularly technology. As intangible assets become key drivers of global economic growth, accurately valuing them remains a complex challenge due to their inherent creativity, complexity and uncertainty. Open Access•Jiahui Wu, Xiaoqing Fu et al.•ARTICLE•Tourism Economics•2025

After the epidemic, recovery has been a dynamic process, with people prioritizing ‘rational’ consumption before returning to ‘irrational’ activities like gambling. This study examines all 29 gaming companies in the Asia-Pacific region to assess the impact of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives on financi…

  • Credit default swap spreads

    Open Access•Xiaoqing Fu, Matthew C Li et al.•ARTICLE•Empirical Economics•2021

We employ a multi-factor analysis from both a firm-specific (microeconomic) and market-specific (macroeconomic) perspective to examine the determinants of credit default swap (CDS) spreads in the USA, the UK and Japan between 2005 and 2012. We investigate both aggregate (cross-country) and individual market data so that a comparative analysis can be performed. Our results reveal that (i) in general, Tobin’s Q, stock market returns, and the risk-f…

  • Is green tea still ‘green’

Open Access•Yong Li, Xunhua Zheng et al.•ARTICLE•Geo Geography and Environment•2016

The contemporary tea industry in China is associated with high tea production and high nitrous oxide (N 2 O) emissions, due to the application of large quantities of nitrogen (N) fertilisers, and the intrinsic characteristics of tea field soils. In total, the Chinese tea plantations may have emitted 40.9 Gg N year –1 of N 2 O for 2013, accounting for 85% of emissions from global tea plantations. Such emissions are significant, unneglectable and n…

  • Genero e hierarquia . A costela de adao revisitada

Open Access•Maria Luiza Heilborn, Feng Liao et al.•ARTICLE•Revista Estudos Feministas•1993•Cited by: 1

In general, relatively consistent patterns and reliability could be identified by both sequencing methods, but the results varied following the refinement of taxonomic levels. Metagenomic sequencing was more suitable for the discovery and detection of pathogenic bacteria of gut microbiota in seagulls. Although there were large differences in the numbers and abundance of bacterial species of the two methods in terms of taxonomic levels, the patter…
