Karanis
From the third century BCE to at least the sixth century CE , Karanis was a small town in the northeastern part of the Fayyum region of Egypt, close to modern Kom Aushim (29° 31' N, 30° 54' E).
Promotion of nano-anatase TiO2 on the spectral responses and photochemical activities of D1/D2/Cyt b559 complex of spinach
Previous researches approved that photocatalysis activity of nano-TiO(2) could obviously increase photosynthetic effects of spinach, but the mechanism of improving light energy transfer and conversion is still unclear. Les nilomètres d'Éléphantine et la date de la crue
Les archeologues allemands ont recemment decouvert a Elephantine deux nouveaux dispositifs pourvues de graduations, qui servaient a mesurer la crue du Nil : il s'agit d'un escalier monumental et d'un bassin relie au fleuve par un conduit souterrain. L'escalier est rattache au temple de Satis, le bassin au temple de Khnoum. Les inscriptions du nilometre du temple de Satis a Elephantine sont apparemment datees de l'annee regnale a la fin de laquell…
