  • Life cycle carbon-footprint calculation methods for detachable wooden cabins in the western Sichuan pastoral regions

Open Access•Yuzhenru Sun, Jun Qin et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Chinese Architecture…•2025

As a critical building typology in the fragile ecosystem of the western Sichuan pastoral regions, detachable buildings generate substantial carbon emissions throughout their life cycle, yet standardized assessment frameworks remain lacking. This study focuses on the widely utilized detachable wooden cabins in these areas, developing an innovative carbon emission model based on a life cycle assessment methodology tailored to detachable building st…

  • Research on Interpreters’ Strategies and Roles in Online Conferences Based on Goffman’s Participation Framework

    Open Access•Jun Qin, Hongmei Ruan•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2025

  • Childhood trauma exposure, working memory updating, and exercise experience in adolescents with major depressive disorder

Open Access•Zhe Li, Jun Qin et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Psychology•2025

Findings from this study revealed that adolescents with MDD exhibit generalized impairments in WMU, and the pathway from CT to depression is partially mediated by both WMU and EE. These findings highlight WMU training and EE improvement as clinical intervention targets for CT-related depression

  • Global optimization of photovoltaic tilt angles

    Open Access•Ning Lu, Jun Qin•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2025

Solar photovoltaic (PV) systems play a crucial role in addressing the growing demand for clean energy and mitigating climate change impacts. However, PV system performance is heavily influenced by the incident solar radiation on panel surfaces, with suboptimal tilt angles leading to significant power losses. Despite the critical importance of tilt angle optimization, many existing PV installations worldwide operate suboptimally due to simplified …

  • A network approach to the relationship between adolescents' problem behaviors, psychological abuse and neglect, and school connectedness

    Open Access•Tingting Fu, Jun Qin et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica•2025•References: 1

Emotional symptoms and hyperactivity/attention deficits are identified as core components of adolescent problem behaviors, and thus may serve as key targets for interventions addressing such behaviors. Additionally, school belonging emerged as a critical external protective factor in mitigating adolescent problem behaviors

  • Short-video usage and female college students’ restricted diets

Tingting Fu, Xiong Li et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Psychology in Africa•2024

  • Medical implementation practice and its medical performance evaluation of a giant makeshift hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic

Open Access•Minjie Chen, Yiling Fan et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2023

Introduction: In confronting the sudden COVID-19 epidemic, China and other countries have been under great pressure to block virus transmission and reduce fatalities. Converting large-scale public venues into makeshift hospitals is a popular response. This addresses the outbreak and can maintain smooth operation of a country or region's healthcare system during a pandemic. However, large makeshift hospitals, such as the Shanghai New International…

  • Chemical Composition and Deposition Fluxes of Water-Soluble Inorganic Ions on Dry and Wet Deposition Samples in Wuhan, China

Open Access•Jun Qin, Yassin Mbululo et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2019

Measurement of PM 2.5 concentration, dry and wet deposition of water-soluble inorganic ions (WSII) and their deposition flux was carried out. During sampling, a total number of 31 samples of PM 2.5 , five wet deposition samples and seven dry deposition samples were collected. The analyses results showed that the average concentration of PM 2.5 was 122.95 μg/m3 whilst that of WSII was 51.63 μg/m3, equivalent to 42% of the total mass of PM 2.5 . Th…
