  • Szociologizáló tendenciák jogfilozófiánkban

    Open Access•Csaba Varga•ARTICLE•Replika•2024

A jogfilozófiában a szociologizálás a jog eredendő társadalmisága tudomásul vételét jelenti.

  • Spatial-temporal epidemiology of human Salmonella Enteritidis infections with major phage types (PTs 1, 4, 5b, 8, 13, and 13a) in Ontario, Canada, 2008–2009

Open Access•Christine Vargas, Csaba Varga et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2015

Phage type-specific differences in exposure settings, and spatial-temporal clustering of S. Enteritidis infections were demonstrated that might guide public health surveillance of disease outbreaks. Our study methodology could be applied to other foodborne disease surveillance data to detect retrospective high disease rate clusters, which could aid public health authorities in developing effective prevention and control programs

  • The Contemporaneity of Lukács’ Ideas with Modern Social Theoretical Thought

    Csaba Varga•ARTICLE•Archiv für Rechts- und…•2013

Investingating mediations between the social total complex and its partial complexes, Lukács emphasised language and law as aents having the sole function to mediate. Ideology as part of human’s societal existence is itself organic component of the ontology of social existence. The way we think in is part of what we truly are. Juristic world-view as the deontoloy of the legal profession is one of the factors of the law’s social existence. Actual …

Open Access•Christine Vargas, Csaba Varga et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2013

Our study demonstrated that FSAs with high and low average median family income, medium proportion of visible minority population, and high average number of children at home per census family had the highest S. Enteritidis infection rates. These areas should be targeted when designing disease control and prevention programs. Future studies are needed in areas with high S. Enteritidis infection rates to identify sources of environmental contamina…

  • Reliability of anthropometric parameters in the prediction of the visceral fat area among adult women

Zoltán Pintér, Andor Molnár et al.•ARTICLE•Anthropologischer Anzeiger•2013

Visceral fat accumulation is a risk factor for cardiometabolic diseases. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) provided the most accurate techniques of abdominal fat assessment, but these methods are very expensive. The aim of this study was to examine and compare the predictive ability of simple anthropometric parameters for visceral fat area (VFA) among adult women in different age and obesity status groups. The sample c…

The findings may be generalized to other jurisdictions with travel behaviours in their residents similar to Ontario resid…
