Does the expectation of having to look after parents in the future affect current fertility
This paper argues that the expectation of having to provide care for aging parents in the future may be a major factor contributing to the current low fertility rate in Japan. Keynesian and New Classical Models of Unemployment Revisited
Several Keynesian and New Classical models of unemployment for the United States are reevaluated. The models are examined for adequacy by testing the cross-equation restrictions (where appropriate) and using diagnostic and nonnested tests that explicitly recognize the problem introduced by generated regressors.
