Instructional Set and the Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory
Effects of the manipulation of instructional set on the Coopersmith Self-esteem Inventory were studied for high school boys and girls. Effects of faking instructions on the Zung Self-rating Depression Scale were investigated for both male and female Ss. There were no sex differences but there was a significant difference due to instructions ( p < .05).
